I just recently got the new Covenant album, and instantly fell in love with this song. After hearing it a couple of times, this pic popped into my mind, the idea of thoughts running through Xayle's mind.

But the pic didn't seem complete when I first rendered it. I passed it off to my partner in crime and asked her if she'd thought Paimon in the background would complete it. She agreed and so I stuck Paimon in the background, watching over Xayle.

I believe Xayle is always aware of Paimon's presence, and it is a comfort to him.
